THE EXTENDED DETOX-WEEKEND
The Detox-Weekend is made up of
three components:
- fasting (according to the Buchinger method)
- three hours of yoga every day
- a Thai-Massage-Packet
The combination of these three techniques effects
a careful detoxification of the body. During the
fast we have to take in lots of pure and high-value
liquids, as we are only living off the body's
own reserves. Responsibly managed,a body-protecting
fast offers good body-cleansing measures in order
to facilitate a new start.
Nowadays we are very careless about how we treat
our bodies and we mistreat them no end. We spend
lots of time without fresh air or sunlight, sit
uncomfortably, hastily guzzle convenience food
and don't take the time to stretch the body. What's
more, we have completely forgotten how to breathe
correctly.
If the body complains we reach for tablets, thereby
suppressing any signals that make us aware of
this imbalance. Thus, we destroy the body's own
healing powers even more.
Yoga can have lots of effects on the recovery
of health by bringing the natural system back
into alignment even after years of unhealthy living.
Physical activity is recommended nowadays by all
healthcare authorities and Yoga-exercises are
a way of healing.
